School Programs & Outreach

School Programs

We provide education to all ages, including K-12 students! Partners of Scott County Watersheds offers free, hands-on water quality programs that supplement NGSS standards.

Floating Classroom

We’ve partnered with Living Lands and Waters to provide local students with a once in a lifetime outdoor learning experience called the “Floating Classroom.” This program allows students to learn about mussels, forestry, and water quality while on the Mississippi River, creating an opportunity to connect with our mightiest local natural resource.

Outreach

Our watershed education programs aren’t restricted to the classroom. We are happy to provide programs to any group, whether it be a scout troop, Rotary meeting, or community event. To request an outreach program or speaking engagement, complete the form below.
