Lisa Reisen

Board Member

Lisa Reisen is the Manager – External Affairs for Iowa American Water, the largest investor-owned water and wastewater services company in Iowa and a subsidiary of American Water. Over the 38 years she has worked with the company, she has served as the company’s spokesperson and directed its strategic internal and external communications efforts to a variety of audiences.

She holds a B.A degree in Journalism & Broadcasting from the University of Iowa. With almost four decades of experience in the private water utility business, Lisa understands the critical importance of environmental stewardship and protecting, preserving, and restoring our local watersheds to safeguard a community’s drinking water supply and promote economic development and growth.

Lisa has three adult children and two grandchildren who she loves spending time with whenever she can. She currently lives in the Lower Duck Creek Watershed in Bettendorf with her husband.
