History of Urban Conservation – September Forum

The speaker for the September forum is Wayne Petersen. Wayne retired after working as the State Urban Conservationist in Iowa for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and then the State Urban Conservationist for the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS). He spent the first half of his 41 year career working with farmers and agricultural lands and the last half working with urban and urbanizing landscapes. Wayne has been a presenter at numerous conferences and events throughout his career on a variety of urban topics.  Partners of Scott County Watersheds is fortunate to offer you a chance to listen to Wayne Petersen talk about the history of urban conservation.

Partners of Scott County Watersheds March forum will be held Tuesday, September 19 at 12pm at the Eastern Avenue Library, 6000 Eastern Ave, Davenport, IA 52807.

Lunch is available but we ask for a $5 donation if you choose to eat. An RSVP via email is required for lunch. An RSVP for the meeting is optional, but appreciated.
