Whiskey Run Creek Cleanup Scheduled for Saturday, July 25

Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds as we collect trash and other debris from the Whisky Run Creek watershed in Princeton, IA.  Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend, as we will be able to do simple trash clean up along the banks, as well as jump in and get dirty pulling out larger debris!   Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirts, hats, bug spray, and sunscreen.  All tools will be provided.

Register to participate at http://xstreamcleanup.org/event/whiskey-run-creek-cleanup

Meet at Princeton Public Works (on the corner of HWY 67 and Clay St.) at 8:30 to receive trash bags, safety vests, and gloves, and to receive instructions.  We will move from Public Works along Whiskey Run Creek, making our way up to 5th St.
