Congratulations to The Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District and the City of Davenport; together they received an urban stormwater project grant through the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. Partners of Scott County Watersheds and Ecosystem Services Exchange are proud project partners. This innovative project will capture urban stormwater and run it through a bioreactor and saturated buffer; agriculture edge of field practices, designed to capture and clean tile water  As we move forward in this project we are excited to highlight the importance of community involvement in tackling water quality issues.  Be sure to check out this great article about the project by the QC-Times: Davenport Gets Grant to Clean Stormwater 3.28 northey visit.image
